UAW Local 2069 Skilled Trades

We currently have 92 hourly skilled trades’ people in the plant, with 9 on layoff status.
We have 31 electricians, 45 mechanics, 8 machinists, 4 vehicle repair, 3 HVAC mechanics and 1 painter glazer.

In the last year we have only had 2 applications for journeyman’s cards submitted, one HVAC mechanic and one machinist AA.

Congratulations to B.R. Newman and Wayne Burchett for successfully completing their apprenticeships.  They are both working in maintenance as journeymen in their respective trades.  As of now the apprenticeship program is still on hold until business picks up.
